Terms of study

These terms govern lessons, sittings, and written inquiries with Cognit Trellis, the business established in 2014 and operating at 90 Jungang-ro, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, 57932. By booking a place, paying a fee, or sending an inquiry through the contact form, you accept these terms. If you are booking for another adult, you confirm you have authority to do so.

The lessons

Cognit Trellis provides in-person technical analysis training focused on moving averages and trend confirmation. A lesson is teaching and supervised chart marking. It is educational conversation about printed charts. Orders, brokerage accounts, and instructions to buy or sell a security stay with your own broker. Nothing said in the room is a solicitation to trade.

Schedules, seat counts, and what each lesson includes are described on the lesson pages and the rates page. We may adjust a date for a Korean public holiday or if the minimum number of places is not met, and we will offer another date or a refund as described in the refund terms.

Places and conduct

A place is confirmed when we accept your request in writing and the fee has arrived in the Cognit Trellis account. Seats are for adults aged 19 and over. Please arrive in time to be seated before the first mark. Recording other students is not permitted. You may keep your own annotated sheets.

We may refuse or end a sitting if a person disrupts the room, asks the group to discuss a live personal position, or treats the lesson as order-giving. Fees in that case follow the refund terms for work already started.

Intellectual property

Chart packs, checklists, wording of the confirmation rule exercises, and the text and photographs on this website belong to Cognit Trellis or are used with permission. You receive a personal copy of materials handed to you in a lesson, for your own study. You may not resell the packs, republish the exercises as your own course, or copy the site text for a competing class. Your handwritten notes are yours.

Liability

Markets move for reasons a moving average does not capture. You remain responsible for any trade, hold, or decision you make after a lesson. To the extent Korean law allows, Cognit Trellis is not liable for trading losses, missed sessions in the market, or consequential loss arising from your use of a checklist. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

If we fail to provide a lesson you have paid for, your remedy is a replacement date or a refund of the relevant fee under the refund terms.

Inquiries and privacy

Contact details you send us are handled as described on the privacy page. Please avoid sending resident registration numbers, account passwords, or full brokerage statements.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The courts of the Republic of Korea have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or from lessons at the Suncheon room. We would rather resolve a booking dispute by letter first: write to info@cognittrellis.click or call 061-752-4088.

If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue. These terms are written in English for students who study in English; a Korean translation can be requested for a booking dispute and, if provided, the Korean text used in that dispute will be read together with this page.
