This page describes the cookies and similar storage used on cognittrellis.click. It sits alongside the privacy page, which covers names, messages, and booking records.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can be recognised. Local storage is a related place in the browser for a short note. Both stay on your device. Cognit Trellis uses them only to remember the consent choice you make on the banner.
Types we use
Essential storage remembers whether you pressed Accept or Reject, so the banner does not keep asking. Analytics cookies are optional and are not placed when you reject. At present the site does not load a third-party analytics script at all. The banner still offers a real reject choice so that, if an analytics cookie is added later, it will be placed only after Accept.

Third-party cookies
Pages may request typefaces from Google Fonts so the serif and coordinate lettering can load. That request can involve the font host seeing a technical connection from your browser, such as an IP address. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not embed video or social buttons. If you reject optional cookies, the lesson pages, forms, and field notes continue to work.
How to manage or disable them
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting does not block the site. To remove a choice already stored, clear site data for cognittrellis.click in your browser settings, or delete local storage for this host. You can also block cookies entirely in the browser; the pages still open, and the banner may appear on each visit because the choice cannot be saved.
Impact of disabling
Blocking storage means we cannot remember your consent, so the notice returns. It does not remove your ability to read about moving averages, send the form, or call the desk. Disabling fonts in the browser changes the letterforms, not the words.
