This page explains how Cognit Trellis handles personal information when you write to us, book a lesson, or use this website. It should be read with the cookie page.

Data controller

The controller is Cognit Trellis, 90 Jungang-ro, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, 57932. Email info@cognittrellis.click. Phone 061-752-4088. Cognit Trellis was established in 2014 and is the business responsible for decisions about your information.

What we collect

From the contact form we collect your name, email address, the lesson you select, an optional preferred date, and the message you write. If you telephone, we collect the number you call from and the details you choose to give about a booking. If you pay by transfer, we keep the name on the transfer, the amount, and the date, as our bank statement shows them.

We ask you not to include resident registration numbers, card numbers, or copies of identity documents in the form. Lesson notes you leave behind by accident are returned or destroyed; we do not build a file of your trading positions.

Why we use it

We use inquiry details to answer you, to hold or release a chair, to send practical information about a sitting you booked, and to keep accounting records of fees received and refunds paid. The legal bases we rely on are your request before a contract, performance of the booking, and legal duties to keep proper books under Korean law.

Retention

Messages that never become a booking are deleted within twenty-four months. Booking records, receipts, and refund correspondence are kept for five years to meet ordinary Korean bookkeeping practice, then deleted. Consent choices for cookies are stored in your browser, not on our server; clearing site data removes them.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea you may request access to the personal information we hold, correction of inaccurate details, deletion, and suspension of processing, subject to records we must keep for accounting or for a dispute already underway. Write to info@cognittrellis.click with the address you used when you contacted us. We respond within a reasonable period and, where the statute sets a deadline, within that deadline. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission.

International transfers

Inquiry and booking records are handled in the Republic of Korea. We do not transfer your personal information to processors outside Korea for this website. If you write to us from another country, the message is received and kept in Korea. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information with our bank when you pay, and with a public authority if a legal duty requires it. Han Sora and Lim Jihoon, who teach the lessons, see the names of people attending a sitting they lead. They are part of Cognit Trellis, not outside brokers.

This website

The site stores a cookie or local storage choice only as described on the cookie page. Form contents are sent so we can read your request. Please use a current browser if you are writing from a shared computer, and sign out of the mail account you name if others use the same machine.
