The Confirmation Desk
Six evening sittings in the Jungang-ro room, spent marking moving averages by hand until a trend is either confirmed on the sheet or left unnamed.
Who it is for
The Confirmation Desk is for adults who already follow a daily chart — a cash name, the KOSPI 200, or a futures contract they watch after the Suncheon workday — and who keep mistaking a bounce for a confirmed trend.
You should know what a session close is. You do not need a formula for a moving average before you arrive; the first evening builds one in pencil. Instruction is in English. The desk is not open to anyone under 19.
What you leave with
You leave with a confirmation sheet in your own handwriting: the average periods you chose, a slope test, a close-location test, and the conditions that keep a move unnamed. The sheet is the result. There is no certificate and no list of names to buy.

How the time is spent

Evening 1 — the lag
Ten sessions, one 20-period simple average, added by hand. The point is to feel how many closes the line still owes the past.

Evening 2 — slope versus level
Price can sit above a falling average. You mark the slope of the average with a straightedge before you are allowed to talk about direction.

Evening 3 — a cross that fails
A shorter average crosses a longer one and the move dies. You write down what was missing: slope, close location, or both.

Evening 4 — where the close sits
Each close is marked above the average, straddling it, or below it. A trend is not confirmed by a wick.

Evening 5 — stacking 20 and 50
Both averages on one sheet. Confirmation requires agreement between them, not a single pretty line.

Evening 6 — the rule on a fresh chart
You write the rule in a paragraph, then apply it to a chart from the pack you have not marked. Lim reads the sheet with you before you leave.
Before you come
Bring a graphite pencil, a plain ruler, and one printed daily chart of a name you already follow. Leave the laptop at home. If you have never printed a chart, say so when you write and we will add a spare sheet to your pack.
Limits
Eight seats. The room holds the sitting only when at least four places are filled. English is the language of the desk. Public holidays in Korea cancel the evening; we name a replacement date in the same week when the calendar allows.

The fee
